CT Eliminators 14U Black win their first tournament of the season. 3rd seeded Eliminators go 3-0 on Sunday out scoring opponents 34-0 on 36 hits in 9 innings at bat. Overall 5-0-1.

CT Eliminators 14U Black finish 2008 strong with 9th Place finish out of 108 teams at 2008 PONY Nationals in Cary, NC. 14U Black battled out of the loser bracket going 7- 1 in elimination bracket play, 2 international tie breakers, eventually losing in Sweet 16 to 2007 national champion organization and 2008 final 4 team.

14U Black’s long trip to PA was rewarded with a winning effort in an exciting championship game v. # 1 seeded Thunderbirds. The game was well played in a 1 to 1 tie through the seventh inning. The Eliminators scored 4 runs in the eighth inning and the #1 seed Thunderbirds threatened with the two runners on base and the tying run at the plate before the Eliminators fulfilled their name to end the game. The 20 team tournament hosted teams from Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Trios Champions
CT Eliminators Trios Team , from left, of Annie G., Robi R., and Gabby G.representing 14U Black captured the championship of the first-ever Mirage 14U Trios Indoor Softball Tournament on Saturday December 8th. The team went 4-0, defeating the team from Mirage Purple in the finals. 12 three player teams from the CT Bombers, Pink Panthers, Mirage, CT Tigers and CT Eliminators where represented at the tournament.
